Prohibited and Special Items List

Prohibited Items

For safety and environmental reasons, the following items are NOT PERMITTED in our dumpsters:

• Hazardous materials
• Batteries
• Chemicals and solvents
• Medical waste
• Gasoline and motor oil
• Full or partially full containers of paint
• Animal carcasses
• Propane tanks (unless following proper disposal procedures)
• 

Improper disposal of these items can result in fines or additional charges, so please ensure they are kept out of our dumpsters.

Dirt Only Dumpsters

• Do not fill more than half of the dumpster with dirt.
• Maximum weight limit: 10 tons (DOT guidelines).
• No mixing with other materials.
• Dirt must be level across the container.
• Wet dirt will incur additional charges due to weight and difficulty in dumping.

Concrete Only Dumpsters

• Similar rules as Dirt Only dumpsters.
• Wire mesh or re-bar may incur an extra fee.
• Ensure the load is concrete only; other materials will incur extra charges.

Metal Only Dumpsters

• No hazardous materials.
• No Gas/oil
• Please do not overfill the dumpster; the load must be level with the top.

Brush Only Dumpsters

• Only brush or unfinished wood is allowed.
• No creosote, varnished, pressure-treated, or painted wood will be accepted.
• If excluded materials are found in a brush-only dumpster, you will be charged full price plus tonnage of the excluded items.
